Prior to co-founding Dittmar and McNeil, CPAs, Duncan's professional CPA career began in 1985 in Providence, RI as a staff accountant at Harris and Gifford, and continued with its successor, Libby, Dittmar and Shah.

His expertise includes planning, supervising and completing audits of for profit and non-profit organizations, preparation of financial statements, all phases of tax compliance, and consultation for accounting systems, and internal control systems.

Duncan provides a unique understanding from the client's perspective, having served as general manager of a regional sporting goods retailer before becoming a CPA.

When not behind the balance sheets, Duncan is apt to be outdoors hiking, fishing, skiing or motorcycling.
